Here are a few pictures of my workshop. I am very blessed to have such a nice shop. I wish I had more time to use it. Most of the pictures are self explanatory.




This picture shows the rifle building bench at the front of the shop under the North facing window.

A closeup of my gun building bench. It is 72"x20"x36" high with the vises spaced a full rifle length apart. The gun support is in the center so that I can flip a gun from one end to the other in order to work on the other side.

Shown below are the tools I use most for final stock shaping and inletting. I use a larger planes, rasps and files for the rough shaping.


Below is the workstation where I do my soldering and heat treating of small parts. The electric furnace is really good for tempering small parts. It can also be used for case hardening. The little steel box is used to hold parts to be case hardened.

Below is my forge. There is a coal forge on the left; a gas forge on the right, and the anvil in the middle.
