PA Dutch Furniture Painting
I have recently developed an interest in PA Dutch painted furniture. The candle box shown below is my latest foray into this area. My next project in a Shenandoah Valley blanket chest.

Turned Wood Pots
I have always like turning. I recently decided to try a little something different. I have never turned bowls and pots before so I decided to give it a try. Since I have a lot of walnut and small pieces of curly maple, I thought that I would try gluing up the two woods and turning the glued-up block. Here are the first results. Both the little pots below are about 4" square. I have gotten some more curly maple and some bloodwood and plan to try some segmented turning next.
