I have parts and plans for the following projects; all to be extensively decorated with carving and engraving. I have highly figured hard maple stock blanks for all the projects.
Colonial Augusta/Rockbridge VA style rifle with a brass patchbox for my brother - Rice 44" "Dickert" C54 barrel; and Chambers Colonial round face lock.
1775-1785 Augusta/Rockbridge VA style rifle to replace the Colonial Augusta/Rockbridge VA style rifle that I am currently making for myself. This is going to be a little later style with a little more carving and engraving using a particularly fancy piece of Sugar Maple. - Rice 44" "Dickert" C54 barrel; and Chambers Early Ketland flat face lock.
John Davidson style rifle - Rice 44" "Dickert" B45 barrel; and Chambers Golden Age lock.
Iron mounted S.W. VA style pistol to match my S.W. VA style chunk gun. It is to be decorated with silver wire inlay.- Rayl 12", 13/16" straight, 45 cal. barrel; and Dixie 1810-1815 style English trade lock.
